Evacuation Order by Governor Henry McMaster

South Carolina’s Governor Henry McMaster ordered a Mandatory Evacuation for these Beaufort County islands due to Hurricane Irma as of tonight, SEPTEMBER 08, 2017 7:50 PM. The Evacuation goes into effective Saturday, 9-9-17 at 10am.

After several days of waiting and watching Hurricane Irma’s path north, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster issued an evacuation order for the barrier islands in Colleton, Beaufort and Jasper counties.

Those islands include Daufuskie, Fripp, Hunting, Harbor and Hilton Head islands starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.

SEA CREST WILL BE EVACUATING AS OF 10AM TOMORROW MORNING

Hurricane Irma Update Status

Update: To all of our owners and guests who have travel plans this coming week starting Saturday September 9, 2017- The Gov. of South Carolina and local Beaufort County officials are monitoring the storm very closely, as of Thursday afternoon the Governor is looking at an evacuation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday for coastal counties, but this is subject to change depending on track of storm. Although he didn’t announce an official evacuation at the press conference on Thursday, he encouraged residents to leave coastal areas starting now if they can. Please continue checking this FaceBook page for updates. We have no further information then what Beaufort County, and The Town of Hilton Head and the Weather Channel has published.
